I've seen through better eyes this weakness lending itself to worry more than often imaginary. Sitting amongst the empty holding onto leftovers, the reminders of ease, when moods could weather and still be understood. First times are beginning again, but morning glories withhold their blooms' openings waiting for the last dews drying and the sun's glow to once again warm their core. Clinging to the known, a life-line vine, with more climbing to do, feeling divided, wanting to revert to a more colorful hue when days were "yesterday"... I've seen through better eyes... Like the beatles "Yesterday" it says to me I believe in yesterday I went to the desert on a horse with no name, it felt good to get out of the rain. |
