They are my nourishment;
furrowed faces, maps of lifes excesses routed through indulgence, chosen over selflessness.

These faces of souls, I square them....
in my viewfinder painted black and grainy; those beneath lashed greed looks.

I shoot them...
with my lens; haughty turns of wealthy soft-soaped cheeks in response to the outstretched hand of a beggar.

If they only knew that I had caught them...
on my film; forever imprinted before they covered up their surprising illumination of racism among enlightened beings.
My shutter clunks solid towards the sins of poverty in all it's downward, tiny step compromises, and I feed.
I am a photographer

Wow - powerful and sadly true of society.
You've got some fabulous imagery and phrasing.....This is a keeper, a reminder~

oh I love this, I often think of poets as those who photograph with words...and you have so proved my theory.....

Oh !    I love this also !
I love the way the tables are turned.
::smiles::
I may be seeing something that is not here...
But regardless...
Based upon what I see...
I am awed !

If what I am seeing is what was meant...
You have made a lasting impression that will only pass with my final breath.
Regardless...

I'd love to see your portraitures.

Thank's everyone,you're beyond gracious I've enjoyed my time here so far. Each person is so unique in the way that they communicate their feelings.(errr.. in poetry, not critique) some vomit it out at you, others are faint like little bells, or tongue in cheek, transparent, innocent, rigid in form and structure, rollicking of rhyme...just amazing, but all are simply smashing
Look forward to you all~
Also, any critique on structure is something I would love. I don't know anything about it and would love to learn.
