Give to me the strength, that I might
climb the mountain of your soul, that
I might feel the tremor of your heart
as I think of your love, drifting slowly
across my eyes...gazing back.

Allow to me the exhilaration of standing
upon the precipice, waiting to stretch
arms into wings of fantasy as I fly and
soar the curves of your mind and leave
behind the traces of my lips.

Bring to me the words that I might speak
to you through my hands, that I might
spell for you the word of joy,   love,
compelling compassion and desire, for
I breathe each breath that I might rise
tomorrow and find you there....
beside me...

And, if I might not wake, leave to me
the unspoken promise that you will lay
a rose upon me....and leave behind a
kiss upon still lips....that I might have
you in eternity....into infinity....as my
soul gazes upon you from the heights
of our lofted, pristine world until again
we are joined as one....
