He preens the wood to special glow
gives my words wings to soar
Sweet winged butter-on-fly
lasting forevermore~

Australian Lace Wood for this he chose
carving how he says I make him feel
Lighter than air he wings me love
it is just so very real~

*A special gifting of one of Bill's talents*
*He is a man of many*
Thank you, baby~

You can see some of Bill's other fine woodcarving at the two pages found here -

To "draw" upon one another's talents
is a true blessing, not disguised...

Beautiful work, the both of you...

Thank you.

He is certainly a most special person to
you, isn't he?  I hope you each enjoy
the other for many years to come....

And yes, it was your poem that inspired
me.  Thank You.

Dear Marge:  Both poem and carving are gorgeous!  The wood is wonderful! I loved browsing Bill's site and fell in love with Pecan Pete!

I can't decide which is more beautiful, the carving or your poem, so I'll go with them both.
