in a tremble of thought
grievance for her lost
endlessly she sought
what, to her own cost
earthshaking, her cry
hopeful, not in vain
as her numbers die
left within her pain
when a mother cries
her tears to be heard
heed the one that tries
to translate to word ...

"she is all we know
to have and behold
our mother must show
our errors untold"
