                   you may never know how bad i wanted you

and if you did, would it be enough to tie your shoes?

i've looked and i still haven't found that bottle of Elmer's Glue

                            sweet enough to hold me together

the way you used to

and i try to be "Tougher than Leather" but it's difficult while wondering if our time will ever be due

                                           again
