Lumpy Oatmeal makes me Crazy!

He comes out at night
No one speaks above a whisper
Furtive glances to the shadows
dancing on the snow
As the night fire spirals higher
Sparks flying into the darkness
Embers of humanity
Deep into the night they peer
holding children close
and tell stories of nocturnal sightings
and day light foot prints
that lead into the moutain side
Magical, mystical man being
Owner of stories and legends of lore
Caught in the web of words
that whisper his name.

I'll read any poem titled, "Yeti." You did a good job too.    Ed

M A G I C A L ! !

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart..
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul.
