Life is a journey that’s ventured to be
The good or the bad that you want it to be
Much better the journey when you have a friend
To share the adventure until it might end

When you join as a couple to love and to care
The journey becomes one of learning to share
To not hold your secrets; to be both as one
Enjoying each other till each day is done

Giving the gift of your laughter and joy
Telling each other of things you enjoy
Taking the time to listen and see
How wonderful life spent together will be

Remember a kiss every morning and night
Remember your past as the future you sight
May the words that I love you be shared everyday
To find then the hard days just vanish away

Beautiful words which hold much truth Rick!
Very lovely indeed.

For it was not into my ear you whispered
But into my heart..
It was not my lips you kissed
But my soul.

You are so perceptive.  So talented.  And, yep, I do like this.  And I also like sentence fragments (can you tell?  grins).  Good writing, Rick.
