dancing 'neath the moon

Beneath a jewel encrusted sky
Amidst twinkling amber fireflies
In field of jade,
by sapphire pool
ivory toes slip
into shimmering cool
Emerald eyes glisten
'neath ebony veil
Topaz wings
through midnight sail
Diamond heart
heeds not the call
Past ruby lips
crystal tears fall

I love the bold strokes you painted with vivid colors from your personal palette. Thanks for sharing!

Beginning lines with prepositions...I attempted this myself once before!

Very well written, bold imagery!

I've been reading Macbeth a bit recently and this write reminded me a lot of the theme Shakespeare uses throughout the novel.
I really really *heart* this write, you have quite a talent.
