sort of a song i wrote for some friends.. the premise of it is largely taken from a poem i wrote in high school..

The only sound we have
As if by fingers wound
All around me and
I cant seem to bend
The light from her eyes
Like a thousand golden arrows
Burning all the ways
At rest in the darkness

Her hands sought me
For a hammers caress
To christen a malleable shell
Her voice searching
For time, lost by the windowsill

Aria, from the sea
Like hands without arms
They help you
To the end without beginning

I think I should have let you know
The crack in the picture frame
Spilled colors, with no shape
There are answers
At the bottom of the silence
I wanted to let you know
The light is only ever
An absence of form

Her hands sought me
For a hammers caress
To christen a malleable shell
Her voice searching
For time, lost by the windowsill

Aria, from the sea
Like hands without arms
They help you
To the end without beginning

I wanted to let you know
The light you loved..
