My name is maksym and I’m 18. Just recently I started to enjoy literature for what it is instead of just seeing it as “Boring English class". So here’s the first poem I have written outside of "the English class".

I never cry
Not at weddings,
Not at funerals.
I never cry
Not in fear,
And not in pain.
I never cry
Not for a song,
Not for a movie.
I never cry
Not for family,
And not for a friend.
I never cry
Not in loneliness,
Not in happiness.
I never cry
Not in my deepest depression
And when I’ve lost it all.
My heart may swell with emotion
And eyes drown in tears,
I close them shut and
I never cry.

A fine rhythmic piece.
Thematically solid.
Maybe you should read it to your English class as a poet, not a student.

I think we've all gone through that transition at some point -- and it's so much more fun to play the game instead of just watching!
