~July
degrees soar to
new mercurial heights
solar reigns in merciless rays
blanching the days in leftover night-heat
cool lemonading stands beckon
relief ever-thirsting
not quenched in
July~

You've got that right Marge!
This weekend and all next week it's going to be a scorcher.
Even up here in the great white north..
Sunday is suppsed to hit 96 degrees,
and that's without factoring in the humidity
which we always have plenty of being near the lakes.

So, yes please, I'll have a glass of lemonade with lots of ice.

Ah ... nekkid in the water ... only way to be~

SweetEnchantedOne~
The grandie girlies call it lemonlade and they'll rustle their favorite auntie up a cool tumbler of the perfect drink ... as long as you bring Jessica down with you to drink it~

Marge, you tell those grandie girls to make lots of that wonderful lemonlade!
And Jessica and I would love to come down there for a tall glass..
But, Jessica wants to know if she can have hers in a sippy cup!

Landry says she'll share, but Delaney says that Jessica can have HER sippy cups (all of them), for she has outgrown them !

Come on down !!

It is indeed hot. 100 degrees, here. Maybe more than that, today.

The heat is on here too!!  A good old fashion heatwave.  Lemonade sounds very good right now.

I know...I'm melting up here! Supposed to get to 97 today, and it's humid as well. Stay cool, Marge!

Sounds very hot Marge, here in Australia it is cool, but I do understand the heat, for that we also get from time to time. Enjoy your lemonade and try to keep cool my friend, enjoyed the read, thank you.

Sincerely
Rick
