Flaming coat,
Stealthy hunter
Proud master of the house
He was too brave
Walking upon the monsters path,
The man made metal beast
It was the one thing
He couldn't defeat.

Oh, I am so sorry.  I will tell Flicka, my horse in Heaven, to look out for him.  He adored/adores all animals and they all adored/adore him.  He had a cat friend who followed him everywhere and slept in his stable.  He will look after Simon and show him around heaven.  Simon will love his beautiful tribute.

Sobs, empathy and hugs

That was such a strong Poem about your Cat.  I am sorry for your loss..  I just moved where there are cats and am really learning how special they really are.

Sorry to hear about your cat.
I’m not a cat lover, not even a cat liker,
But I have three grown kids who when they were young
Had to have cats for pets.  They did.
I can understand the attachment.

Nice write!

I thought the poem was excellent, but was too upset about Simon, to remember to tell you.

Oh goodness.  I'm not really a cat fan, but if I think about something like that happening to my little dog it breaks my heart.  I'm sorry.

I think the poem was perfect. It was just right. Not too much, if you would have said more it would have become something not as sentimental or loving. I am sorry about Simon...me being an animal lover it breaks my heart so much to hear about your sadness...but keep writing, it helps!!

Very impressive write and it stirs a sad feeling of loss in the reader, while you yourself want to keep under control this emotion.

Love,

I've always had kitties in my life, living on a farm my parents have many drop offs. All of them are like an extended family to us... A lot of these cats have fallen pray to cars. My heart goes out to your and Simon, I'll never forget when my cat Webo died from the same thing. Best wishes to you <3

A sad but wonderful read.
I am a cat lover.
