flesh, feelings & life

a nearby laugh,
floats through my thoughts
full lips,
rummaging vibrant discussions
like an oversized purse,
moving towards flawless illusions
drawing memoirs,
gestures
of
questioning
gaze
touching my hand,
with a sound of sunlight
scenting the air,
confirming selective,
warm pine scents
re-creating
life’s vibrant colors

there …

i press my nose
against winter’s darkness
looking through
the long pause
of a roller coaster ride

another soul hums through
a penny bright moon,
illuminating the life
i live in…

beckoning me,
to hold a paintbrush
with luminous eyes
of jade green
hugging courage,
when i live inside
that laughter,
& a nearby parable

i tremble for life itself…
taking a peek
at the deep sea of
uncertainty
which
becomes
my favorite book
in the library of
strange horizons
where the first step
might be the hardest
but undersea cities
really rock
and yes,
there is a God!

Wow, that last stanza is excellent! If we could see the unknown as an adventure instead of something to be afraid of, then we will be able to enjoy life much more.
