That feeling
will not soon be forgotten,
nor that sound
so soothing, that it
wrapped me in
a sense of security
as calmness reigned itself
over me, and left me longing
to linger a few seconds more
there;
where, in that moment
I felt no fear.

It was comfortable
like a skin
that I could slip into
and wear, perhaps
for just a little while

as I twist and bend
trying to
stretch out time
while committing that moment
to be cherished in mind,

and become lost in its beauty,
it's magic,
in you......

hold me, forever
sweet eyes of blue.

seek the flame within yourself
and let your soul be cleansed by
the fire of love.  Axel Ekenstierna

Donna...sometimes a moment is all there is...and yes, I think it can be stretched, even if it is just into a memory.  Nicely done!   Nice photo!

At least it fit with a bit of stretching.

eyes of blue are never true
eyes of green are never to be seen.
eyes of brown never stick around.

or something like that...remember that from grade school?

I hope you have many more of these peaceful
and tranquil moments,  wrapped in love and
happiness...We all deserve that...We all do.

I think everyone would gladly give anything to make a moment like this last forever.
Beautiful imagery and sentiment.
I'm saving this
