My Heart Wrote To Yours

I can remember when our thoughts
Were along on the same lines
It seems your paths have changed
I must have I missed the signs

We were on the same wavelengths
Heart to hearts across the sea
Until your silence swept me ashore
The reasons you never told me

Forever friendship is what you said
As promises went hand in hand
After years in close communication
Your silence I cannot understand

Those shared thoughts I remember
Since my recollections never fail
Continually my heart wrote to yours
In the hope you check your mail
