It's the shoulder of the road that holds me, mostly,
and the watch of leaning fencepost, as I  drive.
But,  the shoulder of my memory is what drives me
and the watch of fencepost screaming "you're  alive"!

C'est si bon...
for when the shoulders soften
take the curves you love the most
life smiles to hold you often
in observation of her post

You are so clever!  Thank you for the smile.

It's the shoulder of the road that holds me, mostly,

loved this...loved the entire body of this...wisely written and felt by all who will read...
