She’s smart, yet humble, so witty, and wise.
You’ll only see truth when you look in her eyes.
She’s just so resilient, heart soft, yet so strong,
She sure makes me laugh while she strings me along.

She can whip up a poem, or a hot Cajun stew,
She will sing me a song, then bid moi adieu.
She tells joke after joke, sure, many off-color,
New Orleans is better for housing this mother!

She's good at hiding her pain deep down inside,
Unless she trusts you, then she might just confide.
How she finds her strength I question each day,
She stands for tenacity, perseverance, but hey…

She’s one of a kind our Mz. Serenity, it’s true.

Love,
3 crazy Canuks, who wish to say, "Thank You!"

Natasha, Sharon, and Victoria

Yes, they both had a hand in doing that wonderful picture for you.

My grand girls decided to make a picture out of New Orleans Mardi Gras beads, etc. on the rug for their favorite person in New Orleans.  Well to be honest, Karen is the ONLY person they know in NO,  but they sure send a lot of love in her direction today.   As a matter of fact, so do I!

I've had dreams of many things -
academy awards and rings
of diamonds cut such that reflect light
of sun rising newborn, as day slays the night.

Kiss me m'darlings and take with you night,
and know ye that everything will be alright
as long as you have sparkle magick and fun,
and kiss you night, sweetly, forever young.

To my favorite three faery children...

Oh brother, you are going to love this K ... Tori wanted to know if that was a "spell" you wrote.  I told her only if she wants to grow up to be a fairy like her Gramma.  She smiled "that" smile, and I just beamed.  Thank you again for having such a tender and kind heart that always opens to those you care about, and theirs. You are loved lady, you are indeed loved.

I will have to email you a picture of those two monkeys done up as our family doesn't post pics of the kids on the internet anymore.

Sharon,

A most wonderful display of Love Magic here and I must agree with the others that she's so very well deserving of it.

God bless.

See, I'm not the only one that loves you! Holy cow...

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

smiling--tell them that I love you all too, and my poem is a wish, kind of like a spell, but less specific. (For the record, my poetry is seldom specific enough to be a "spell".) And "forever young?" They are already more mature than I!

And someday, I hope we can clean up our city totally, so that they can come here and enjoy carnival with me! (We are nuts yanno--we have to clean up the city to make a huge mess! *grin*)

In fact, all of you guys can come!

We have a blast! Well I do, when I can get somebody to carry my chair, my ice chest, and a truck to carry all that "treasure" home!

The girls are a joy, Sharon. And you have been a most joyous blessing in MY life, too.

Love you canuck! Ta for now.

I'm gonna go lay in front of my air conditioner AND my box fan.

Hot, ain't it?
