Cremation

I burn the logs that died last year
In my hand a bottle of beer
And stir the ashes Camelot
The ashes of the past some what

I see the sparks that fly the air
Lighting memories as I stare
Bringing good and bad of store
A second fire burns in roar

Each one brings a warmth’s abide
One without the other inside
The beer that wets my lips in bliss
Like wet this maiden left in kiss

I often press the fires toll
To light the fires in my soul
Warm my hands the cold of age
And flip my mind an early page

I burn the logs that died last year
And toast the memories with my beer

a tall cold one sounds good

My spirit will rise
above the sea~
There will be no drowning
of my soul or me~
