A tumble weeds Notes

I’m stuck against a rock, not tall
But tall enough to block and stall
I need the wind to pick me up
And send me on my giddy up

I never know where I will fly
We have this game the wind and I
He pushes me along you see
Along my arid destiny

And I in tumble to each new
Never know the coming view
For in this way I grow and feed
For I am but a tumble weed

I never know what coup will come
Nor do I count the turns in sum
But dance the turning of my life
No matter how the tune of fife

It is a common view I know
But much of life I see as so

Enjoyed the similarities of our lives to that of a tumbleweed.  We are just here for the ride.  Well done.

Well, I guess "wind" is as good a name as any for whoever/whatever pushes us along because really, what's in a name?

I enjoyed your flow and roll of words!

Sometimes... we've just got to go with the flow. *S*

I like this very much, my friend... grinned at the title, remembering my first encounter with a tumbleweed and how I wanted to bring it home with me... in a car already popping its seams from being so stuffed! *S* I still have a soft spot for them... so... SMOOCH! *S*

i like the way this rolls
and tumbles, but no way  are you  a weed

My spirit will rise
above the sea~
There will be no drowning
of my soul or me~
