"A Night on the Sand"
The sea was quiet,

The night was still,

I could see the moon brightly shining among the stars.

It was the perfect setting for a good book,

But its perfection was my flaw.

There was no way I could capture God’s beauty on paper.

Tears came down from my eyes,

I decided to sit in the sand and stare into the sky until it all went away…

Beautiful!

The soul would have no rainbows, had the eyes no tears.

Hi Michael the 3rd! Nice to meet you! You're right; there are really no words to describe God. It's fun to write about Him, though! Thanks for the beautiful poem!
