Your lips are
soft stories
with many
boulevards
and lanes
for dreamsleep
thighwings.

Lingerie slick
cinnamon
in my cup.

Hands quiver on
latch unrusted,
enticed,
supped and
touched
with island shadows
in the light of day.

We are grace

We are nasty

We are wet cloth of
scented secrets

Bagger Vance

"with island shadows
in the light of day."

I enjoyed the dichotomy of some of the words you used in this poem, like "grace" and "nasty".  It works!!  Welcome to Passions..I look forward to reading more of your poetry.

Welcome and I too went surfing your poetry elsewhere and truly enjoyed what I read.  It is refreshing to have a new poet with such a wonderfully gifted view of life on deck. I do hope you will share more with the members here, and this was "sweet!"  By the way Bagger Vance was my favorite Redford movie.

Welcome aboard these piptalk pages of blue. It is a family of kindred poetic spirits. This was a delicious piece with which to make your debut! I was especially intriqued by your opening stanza ~

"Your lips are
soft stories
with many
boulevards
and lanes
for dreamsleep
thighwings."

~ I found myself puckering up with those sumptuous words! Flirty

Warm, welcoming hug,
