THE WORST-CASE SCENARIO Sunday’s 60 Minutes Show http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/01/27/60minutes/main1245714.shtml Looks like we’ve got another “Brownie” Except this time it could be worse Maybe tens of thousands dead Could be this other crony’s curse. Here we have a drug company Who has found a magic cure That has even made the Pentagon Know, they want it for sure. Then along comes this “lawyer” Who used to work for Amtrak Wants to put our “Project Bioshield” Somewhere on the slow track. When will we get some people In these jobs who know their stuff Finding someone who’s qualified Surely couldn’t be that tough. Guess Katrina taught us nothing Or certain people didn’t learn To fix those things that are wrong Before they take another tragic turn. They say we need ten million doses And that’s at the very least He only wants one hundred thousand I guess the rest will be deceased. What will they say when it happens Will they say, “We didn’t know!”? Will they let the people pay again The way it usually seems to go?
