It was never the morning That inspired me Left behind the veils of sleep I would wander crazed into a cup of coffee Searching Lifting my spirits with each Raging bang of the clock Time marches on as my coffees disappears Goodnight coffee You have done good Creating false alertness that hides the shadows Underneath my eyes |
