Silk n Thoughts

I walk the frustration,
a day dressed in blues
no call of the voice,
no sound to amuse.

With a smile in my heart
the day had begun
but the hours had chaptered
the fall of just one.

They say without thinking,
words hurt in their wake.
Impending the harshness
too much mine to take.

So I travel the distance
where home holds the norm,
less negative of thoughts
and a place to feel warm.

There, the black smooth of satin
holds shades of the two
eyes that can linger
silk n thoughts missing you.

Every moment a challenge
in the presence of night,
come the touch of the whispers
of the kissing delight.

So to dream in the daylight
of the darkness in blue
makes me restless tonight
in the wanting of you.

M

You produce a very nice "abcb" pattern of rhyme, which is overall very consistent, and adds phenomenally to the content, which is also good.  Fit poem.
