I want to be a fireman
You told me the other day
You came up with your hat on
All smiles across your face

I watched you as you made the noise
Eeeee eewwww eeeeeeeewwww
The fire truck coming near
Then in just one moment
Away you disapeared

Back you came from bedroom
With a rope from pair of shorts
I watched as you pretended
Holding up your rope
Putting out the fires
That rope was indeed a hose

I sat and watched for ages
As you played the fire man
I thought how cute and special
You are my little man

Adorable - just adorable.  I don't know for sure, but I think that you must be a fire fighter yourself for you to be so proud of your little one acting as a "fireman."  This thrilled my heart when I read it because I could see when my nephew was little how he pretended to be certain things, like a truck driver the way my dad is.  Very cute poem.

Too sweet..It's funny when they decide what they want to be when they grow up..My 7 yr old has changed her mind many times, and each time she's sure...lol

This is GREAT!

When my youngest son was 5 he wanted to be a firetruck.

(he has outgrown that)

So very precious - and, oh, I'm remembering my own sons.  My middle one acted out every occupation imaginable as well as those that I couldn't imagine.  Little boys are such fun to have around.  Do keep us posted on his next role play.
