Oh this is the cutest card Nan!
           Happy Birthday Ron

You have to know I tried to write something just to bug you able-bodied poets right?  Rrrrrright!

The story starts in Battle Crick
One dark and dismal day.
A boy was born to traveling folks
Who were passing through that way.

“I smell cornflakes in the air, yelled Pa,
“Ma!  Fetch me cold milk right now!”
“I’m in labor with your child you brute,”
Sit your own self in front of that cow!

Well Pa sat down and began to pull,
He pulled with all his might,
No matter how he pulled that teat
Not a drop did he get that night.

He heard a cry, and ran to see
A baby lying on the ground
A boy?  A girl? He couldn’t see,
As the child was blanket bound.

“Who are you?  What’s your name?”
“How on earth did you get out here?”
“I’d give you milk but they seem dry,
Hey!  Want to go to the wagon for a beer?”

He called at Ma ~ no answer came.
With the baby he climbed into the wagon.
He was so tired from milking cows,
The poor man’s two feet were draggin.

‘I-Ron!, I-Ron!” the baby cried,
He screamed it over and over to Pa.
“I-Ron!  That was the very last word, and
The baby the last person Pa ever saw.

Ma killed the intruder that dark night,
Cast iron reverberating such a loud KABONG!
She said, "I-RON will be my baby’s name.
Ron for short, but I-Ron for long."
Happy Birthday Ron!

Party harty now!  Well, or soon!

I s(m)urfed the net and what I found
Was beyond my wildest dreams
The Wizard of Oz with a heart of gold
A computer skilled man as it seems

He opened his door for the world to come in
And thousands came walking through
Ron, my friend, I'll send knuffels galore
Grrreat birthday pal, I'm wishing you

Titia
