Forever In Your Heart

There he stood, a shadow,
black, without features,
long forgotten, tossed aside,

Into the dark hole, I fell,
searching for some light,
at the top, he remained,

While I hit bottom, sinking,
looking and searching,
wasted time spent,

he held on with strength,
while I danced in the dark,
he stood, silently still,

In circles, round, round,
like a mouse on a wheel,
something shook my cage,

the world stopped,
I could see, listen,
there was a light,

What did I find?
dressed in rainbows colors,
he was there for me,

back at start, I stood,
should've stayed there,
for when I looked,

over my shoulder,
the answer had been,
there for me,

staring, watching me,
just loving me,
after all this time.

ARH, I love this poem. It sounds like a dream.
I hope it's true, Sweetie?? It's a beautiful
love story, if it is.

I love this one.  Very touching.  Thank you for sharing.

If you are looking for meaning in life, stop.  It will find you.

If you are not looking, start. It is out there waiting for you.

The things we search for we often overlook waiting for the beauty of the world to unfold but it unfolds everyday and we seem to miss it because we are so afraid to open ourselves outwards and touch what is already there
