Another Day to Give

As to a sea, another ocean by name
This answer to water, droplets of least shame
Sleep in hearts, hidden to breast
those arms loving in ways of reach

One day, one answer, as if time was unity
Step by step, footsteps to forth stride
Waves upon water, drifting to dream
another night alone, another day to give

Seeking comfort, wanting freedom
would it be truth, southern to unify
Another dime to spend, dollars to sense
rich to sorrow, maybe then tomorrow

For what was an ocean, another see
a view, a vision to vista partake
To never know, for this was heart
another day to give and never part
