Still Waters

I felt the tide shiver;
it cried for remembrance.
Back and forth, it
paraded with silent beauty.

Washed away
amidst foamy lips,
it became the memory of a
love lost in this world of
drowning sorrows.

And as it kissed the shore
for the very last time,
it crept quietly away
into the pale oblivion.

Nicely penned!
your word tide really pulled words back and forth

I'd have called this 'Tidal Flows'.

Still waters run deep, or flow 'Not' and this moves which I liked, but was more a 'Tidal Flow or Wash'
