Inspired by an Irish Folk Song sung by the Clancy Brothers and Tommy Maken

and please dont think (choice of words) that all poems are personal or from the Daily Bloidiods

Dave

An autumn wind laments around
The love of your heart

And peace is never in your heart
Or loving treasure strewn

Though autumn winds may swoop and die
Your heart still stands unmoved

As icy winds grip your veins
My smile to you is chewed

Take time, take time in your mind
And the gardens that you roam

Take peace, take peace
Take bread and water

My loving treasure strewn

Though autumn winds may swoop and die
A love of mine alone

Singing hushalulalulalula
Singing hushalulalulalula

Take time take time take time
And find

In the gardens that you roam

Take peace take peace

Take bread and water

My loving treasure strewn

Thugh autumn winds may swoop and die

A bird of love alone

Singing hushalulalulalula
Singing hushalulalulalula
