Bona (Con)Fide

What is essential
for this desire
is to know
I embrace
part of you
within me,
always.

So I adhere
to fresh darkness
when I bask,
blatantly free
in moist summer
joie de vivre

letting some passion of
wind shaken
tree limb shade
impale radiance.

You’ve become
momentous…

so, what I need
is to know
that you’d
rather
my imaginings

be bona fide.

Loved your poem and its blend of "show/beauty" with the "tell/ask". Yes, sadly, as Mysteria says, it is usually so. I especially loved the darkness/lightness stanza.
