Contrary Dissidents

Who are these people that wish to remove
the mention of God from our Government.
Where were they on April 30, 1789 on the
inauguration day of George Washington,
the first President of the United States.

"In a low voice Washington solemly swore
to execute the office of President of the
U.S. and to the best of his ability, to
"preserve, protect, and to defend the
Constitution of the U.S."  Then, as not
specified in the Constitution, he added,
"So help me God," and kissed the Bible,
therby establishing his own first
Presidential tradition....from the
book John Adams/p.403/written by David
McCullough/2001.

Seems to me,  since then,  some
contrary dissidents have snuck in.

And, it's evident..."God" is not in our schools, government, and not in the hearts of many these days...VERY EVIDENT....sad isn't it?....

Interesting tidbit about Washington.  We are tiny little bits under a much greater Creator.  I agree it is important to give appreciation and respect to that Greater Force.
