Blue, the falling shadows cape
Thoughts that burrow an escape
Still warm breath, leaves trail esteem
To covet dawn within a dream

The bed still warm, your scent remains
My hand explores the space sigh claims
Called from my sleep by shell chime song
Within a dream to covet dawn

Seek you pause or sanctuary
Whispered hedges estuary
Doubt pins curtain call in seem
To covet dawn within a dream

Yet rise to follow at your side
Of quiet remnants, inner tide
In silent touch where I belong
Within a dream to covet dawn

She doesn't disappoint me, either, Magnus...

Kathleen, your writing only steps up from any one poem to another in all of your archive...this one is especially near to me in that you use so many of my favorite terms...

so much so, it endears itself to my library.  Thank you so much for all you offer to Passions!

All great lines but something about this one reminds me of... I'm not sure what but I love it.

Kathleen~
I revere the 'bringer of dawn' that whispers so gently~

'The bed still warm, your scent remains
My hand explores the space sigh claims'

... you give the morning a tender *sigh* to cherish~
