Just another tear to cry,
because I wasn't willing to give it another try.
Just another day,
to wish it didn't have to be this way.

Looking in the mirror,
unable to recognize the image staring back at me.
Wishing things were just a bit clearer,
and somehow that we could just agree.

All this time I've lost,
not spending a moment to value its cost.
The emotional struggle,
pondering one last snuggle.
