"All That" I watched as she patterned herself in the window, smoothing her lines, comparing herself to the wigless mannequin, wondering why even it gets more attention than she. Aging gracefully, I thought, recalling the returning styles and a time when life was simpler brought the beginning of a tear ... as she continued her slow paced walk through the mall. (Inside you never grow old. Your hopes and dreams remain the same, always wishing to find happiness and to share it with another.) I watched her stately figure, trying to guess her age, but as I grow older, age becomes less important and it's the heart inside, that means more. As she turned around to leave, I caught her eyes with a smile and a wink, just to let her know she is "all that" and more. M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |
