Why? I do not know....I guess it's that I was trying to winnow this notebook for the poetry, and something made me feel that it was really a single poem written on those random pages....a poem of me.

I have to do poetry around life....which is why I carry the notebook in the first place, of course..... I wish sometimes I could do life around poetry, but I don't think there's anyone alive who could manage that without losing both.

Enjoyed this one Ed are you sure you didnt mix up your shopping list among a few?..Enjoyed the humour of some of them..they are ''fragments'' of your life...but it illustrates your mind well...can i say that without sounding insulting?...LOL..Enjoyed the read..thanks..

Well, there are some who think an illustration of my mind WOULD be an insult -- to the viewer!

poetry IS life
life IS poetry

and this poetic slice of life

is you,
breathing
onto a blue screen

inhaling, exhaling

ie, I enjoyed the write!

A perfect collage of a beautiful, full and sensitive life - like a journal of a Monet!

I will re-read this offline (in my Ratleader folder) where I can imbibe it at my leisure (and no cost!).

This poem... is a gift. *S* Minutiae that should be mundane - notes from your working world, snippets from honey-do lists - are sprinkled with magic by resting in your notebook... they combine with the lines of poetry to present a fascinating portrait of a magnificent man... and an incredible poem. *S*

You've written life... beautifully! *S*

Here's to Pringles... and to giant celebrations... like reads of your work. *S*
