I float above me
Watching my life
I see my mistakes
That I can never make right
And this is how it feels
To be out of body

An experience nowhere near death
Like watching a full moon at night
A big glowing orb that seems so near
Lit by the light of a distant star
And this is how it feels
To be out of body

Detatched from reality
But connected to everything you are
Up here I can hear my heart break
But i feel nothing but the sun apon my face
And this is how it feels
To be out of body

So will i leave this husk behind
And soar to the heavens beyond
Or encase myself in that fleshy prison
So my life can go on
And that is how it feels
To be out of body

This is exactly my "out of body" experience too....  I love this poem!

yes...that's it. But remember, looking back just hurts your neck. Look forward, for there are so many good things coming.
