Dreams

Of this one, I want to be sure
For this love is to be pure.
This love I want to be right
Not of power, nor of might.

It’s no matter where we go,
For that I cannot know.
I want to feel and see
That together, we are free.

I want actions not commonplace,
To feel the winds touch our face.
To have fun, be young and share,
To be happy, joyous and care.

I want to walk, hand in hand
On beautiful beaches, in the sand.
To climb mountains,
Play in fountains.

And should our flaws begin to show,
I want to understand and to know,
That we will support each other,
With no fuss and no bother.

And should I falter and fall,
You will be there to make me tall.
And should you sway and bend,
I will be there to help you mend.
