Tapping the Mist

A squeeze of lemon just a twist
To tap the measure of the mist
Stirred and mixed into impound
And this is truly what I found

A tang of taste the rig of dew
That lit the sky a sprig of blue
The pleasure of a shawl of dawn
The essence of a life reborn

The echo of the hallow reed
The rhythm that the heart beats bleed
The spirit tasting nature’s core
The magic of a sense of awe

And in the coma of impart
I lived a moment of restart
With hands outstretched upon the beach
I tried to pass within the breach

But mist is like the bells that chime
They also ride the sands of time

You sure know how to make a guy feel good.
Miss you.

You write pretty darn good. Take care and one of these days we will meet again.
