It's a dance
the blind leading the restless
with your hands tied
and your eyes open
you'll never stop

feel it in your bones?
feel it rotting away

the car is shaking
with every body it hits
corpse after corpse after corpse
smells like roses

this isn't a reflection of you
this is what happens
when you forget
that the past
is the past
for a reason

I can feel it on the back of my neck
where you dug your nails into me
and told me I was tense

I could breathe you in
you were so close
and I did
I did
can you blame me
smells like roses
