THINKING
17 July 2000

Electrifying brain-flashes.
Puzzle-pieces of logic reshape into flowing smudges
of harmonizing voice-clouds and blasts of rainbow sky-smears

and the spirit savours sunshine and forest fragrance.
And new worlds
and new words
and bluebirds
swoop into the face
of stagnation
and stagnation explodes
into a volcanic display
of a thousand, sky-high petals
that flutter into larks
that turn
and soar
above the clouds
quivering with song
that echoes through the mind
and lifts it
to greet
the wind
and sun.

What a good title. My favorite line "lifts up to meet the wind and sun." Really enjoyed this write.

Diana, sometimes you are simply a blessing to read...and so is your poetry.

Thank you so much, Kate.  Glad you enjoyed it.

Giggles, Steven, and thanks!

Thanks Igina.  I absolutely love thinking, as crazy as it sounds and the whole poem is the way I feel about thinking.

Thank you for your kind words, Ratleader.  I am glad you enjoy reading me and my poetry.

Thank you 2CatchaSwan.  Glad you did.
