"Twin Bound & Tied"

some things are meant to be
you can run but you cannot hide
and will never be free...
until you return back into the hands of the one who makes you whole.
We soiled the ground stained the walls in blood
let the heat winds pass burning us into cinders
stripping away flesh and bone, crumbling all into ash
but the love remains strong
and unfettered, untorn crystallized in the snow
waiting until we'd know how pure it was this thing called love
and we'd return

And we returned
back to this place, I gaze in your eyes, your breathe upon my face, this thing called life, born out love
flowing in your veins..
running from your heart throbbing in my chest into mine abeating in your breast
so here are once again
this time shall not stay

This time shall not stray
from this twin bound soul that is made one
tied up together under the sun
burning bright with the vows we'd made, to keep us hand in hand under the moon
and it won't be long though forever can never come too soon
til we breathe as one no spoken word save one I love you to be heard rumbling out to infinity
proclaiming out so clearly
Here we stand, for we are one where it matters under the sun or in the night
lying amidst the roses

lying amidst the roses
the thorns may sting
never felt so good, you kiss my lips
as only your love could, I hold you tight
I'm coming in
when we are home
bound in chains we forged with our smiles and our tears, our hopes and our fears, the anger, and the uncertain they come and go then fade away and the love reamains to wipe clear the stains from the walls
of our fused heart
I love you so
And they may break down the walls
but they cannot tear us apart
my love.

This was absolutely beautiful Gabriel, especially the last verse! One for my library for sure. Thanks for the write.

The soul would have no rainbows, had the eyes no tears.
