birds softly
sing at night
a lullaby in blue light
midnight dream
for day is done
serenading
a special one
night songs
guard and keep
as the stars
watch you sleep
I watch in awe
as you stir
this miracle
that did occur
it takes
my breath away
you are the prayer
that I did pray
oh look,
I saw you smile
my heart skipped
precious child
eyes see now
in a different view
my world is new
because of you
time is a circle
and it is complete
as a tiny beauty sleeps
so sweet
the birds nightsongs
play in refrain
the music this love
does contain
with every precious
breath you take
slumber now
do not wake
