shh............... i'm trying to contemplate

how long before we go out on our first date?

                    i can't wait

so i'm sending romantic rhymes from state to state

          until i find out which interstate

                  i need to travel

in Tennessee, I-40, could be the route i need to unravel

the mystery of winning your heart, which is harder than gravel

     on issues that relate to me grabbing a paddle

and canoeing to your shore, where we could grab a couple of saddles

                 and go horseback riding

                   while we're confiding

                         in each other

secrets that could have us sliding

                         like brothers

down a snowy hill on a winter day

with you as my woman i'd always say

                thank you God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
