I feel the inner heat pressing
Deep beneath my skin
My cheeks reflect the fire
As it bursts from my pores
Tears will not come;
     I refuse them
Anger is me
It envelops me
Frustration of words not spoken
I scream
     madly within
Though my heart is good
My soul is ferocious
And it burns to be heard
It yearns to spew fire
But my lips are dry
And set
     They will not part
Each breath
     a labor of necessity
I suffocate
     in this
          death inferno…

Those lines could stand on their own.
Somtimes we just need to vent!!

Great job, dgvarner~
