Petite Point Appliqué

The wind that whispers in the night
Secrets of the rose
Silver crested clouds at night
Visions that impose

Shadows dancing lunacy
Round a maypole log
A moon that lights fantasy
Bull frogs in a bog

Adding songs of interplay
Passing through my ear
Songs that sing and seem to say
Don Quixote’s here

The sweet smell of earth just turned
Rising from the mist
The suns golden rays returned
All beyond resist

Passing through the wind that’s there
Carried softly in the air

Wow Sy, I've never been a big fan of rhyming poems but I think I'm starting to change my mind. I love this poem; the content, the flow, it's brilliant. I think I like it because it is so different; this might be your best. The whole poem was perfect, well done indeed. Cheers   - Ed
