My eyes were empty
until you came by
They were not smiling
as my face does in cry

My heart never held
that it does in moment of you
Could I tell a lie
in my honesty to be true

My eyes smile
my heart weeps
Your everything
your for keeps

My Valentine
my precious friend
“I love you”
in three words to send

“a Valentine’s Day Psalm”

“And . . . , Blessed of the LORD be his land, for the precious things
of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath, And
for the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and for the precious
things put forth by the moon, And for the chief things of the ancient
mountains, and for the precious things of the lasting hills, And
for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, . . . .
Deuteronomy 33:13-16 KJV
