I live a dream...
in which, I dream I live ;
and in that Life, I dream.
This being so, it goes to show...
Things are not the way they seem.

I dream I sleep...
and in sleep, I dream...
And in that dream there seems...
to be a "me"
Then, I awake and see
I'm dreaming I dreamt the dream.

In the dream, there was an "I"
I awake and see, it wasn't "me"
And I know I musn't identify
With all the things I see.

I can see that there's a  SEER
Who is not an "object" seen.
So this "I"... I see, cannot be Me
Awake or in a dream.

Neither "Here" nor "There" nor Anywhere
Where the FORM of "me" takes shape
Ah !  But, in the deep and dreamless sleep...
Where from  MIND, we escape.

For in that state, there is no "I"
with which I can identify
No dream "me" forms inside my head
Not the "I" in dream nor the "I" in bed.

There is nothing lacking and no excess
Within this state of perfect Rest
No "Here" or "There" or "That" or "This"
There is only the "Void"
There is only.....Bliss.

Can the morning be ignored?
Still see that I'm not here?
Stay in Bliss... and be the Void...
Within which  ALL appears?

I stumble to the bathroom
And fall again into the sham
I look in the mirror, away from SELF
and say, Oh !  There I am.

LOL. Hmmm, I sleep, perchance, to dream? or should I dream, perchance, to sleep?

Had to giggle with the ending.  Very much enjoyed this wonderful runoff of the full cup -- 'tis a filling refreshment!
