With you, my spirit soars upon love's golden wings
above the mountaintops, in mile high majesty,
over sparkling streams, I shall listen forever
for your celestial music, echoing midnite's dreams,
lighting the skies with fireflies
and streaming starlight's glow,
drumming my heart beat,
inspiring fleet of feet,
leaping o'er Boulders bold
cymbals, cascading symbols
of the timelessness
that is love of life,
bounding sky to earth
and back again.
You play my soul within every note,
from the floor of my inner being,
my solid grounding, then lift me up
as if I had wings to unfold.
Palatial pyramids of the ancients
held less glorious treasures than
the music that pours from your heart and soul.
Surround me with your nature tunes,
the cries of midnight loons, of gossamer wings,
the sounds of a myriad of floating things,
in mist or fog, rain or snow,
wherever I go.

Oh, how my heart sings in tune with you,
master Kitaro.
These ears hear
the reverberated heartbeat of nature
through each beautiful note of you.

LOL, I suppose you are right. OM, have you ever listened to Kitaro? Maybe you'd enjoy his music.

Sharon, thanks! I edited the ending, changing from 'reflected' to 'reverberated' as it ends the piece 'in tune' with an auditory rather than visual 'note'

This just totally reminded me of this dreamscape CD I bought.

(I almost fell asleep reading this, thats a compliment)

*grin*

But when I was ripping the CD, it had the same effect.

beautifully written, Kacy.
